Have you picked up the latest issue of Country Living? In this June issue, I have a fun, outdoor lounger to share. The fabric used, Sunbrella Steeplechase Malibu, was really nice to work with, and you gotta love woven stripes for the sake of cutting and sewing precision. It is a bit pricy, but for outdoor use, this type of fabric is essential. Follow the directions on page 57 to make these loungers for indoor use as well with any other fabric- perfect for TV watching or reading. The inserts are standard bed pillows, around $4 each at your local Target. The pillows easily insert and remove from the back to allow for washing of the cover. My favorite feature in the June 2013 issue of Country Living is my friend, and former CL Editor’s beautiful Kentucky wedding.
