Recently I was sent the OddJob™, an all-in-one DIY Multitool by Crescent®. The timing couldn’t have been better since I’ve been setting up my new barn studio over the past few months and really need the extra help. Normally I would go digging for my husband’s tools when I needed to fix, repair, hang or build things. But having this awesome lightweight tool has really saved the day! When I first opened the package my husband stated, “Wow! It’s from Crescent! They make really good tools!” (Take it from a firefighter.) This bright red baby is now the number one hardware tool in my studio.
As you can see it’s a hammer- for driving small nails and tacks with the steel head side- but the other side is a soft mallet!
The bottom of the handle is a ratchet screw driver with forward and reverse functions for tightening and loosening. The OddJob™ comes with a Phillips head screw driver in place, and there are six additional drill bits tucked into a removable compartment in the handle.
I collect vintage standard screws that I find at garage sales or flea markets for the purpose of repairing vintage pieces or adding antique embellishments to things. Standard screw driver heads are getting harder to find, so I was really glad to see that one was included.
The OddJob™ also comes with a flexible screwdriver attachment. This allows you to reach awkward areas like with these plate racks that I hung for storing craft supplies in my studio. I could get a long screwdriver to fit through those wires, but not one with a ratchet mechanism that makes turning so much easier.
On the top of the hammer section has a handy a nail puller. And there’s even a removable utility knife on the other side of the handle.
Here’s a quick video demonstration of it in action:

This would be fantastic to use while doing crafts!!! What a great idea!!!

Jennifer
I’m a single girl who has to do most of the odd jobs around here myself. This tool would be so handy to grab and go and not have to search for individual tools. I’d probably use it at least once a week. Thanks for the opportunity!
What a cool tool! I could use it for so, SO many projects!!!
Being a new DIYer. this would be pretty great to have in my new tool box!

Like you, I’m always digging in hubby’s toolbox. It’s time I had tools of my own! Thank for the chance to win this wonderful prize.
Looks like a nice tool to add to my collection. I love having my own tools in my craft room!
What a clever tool!! Thank you for the opportunity!
Linda
What a wonderful, handy tool! I’d love to win one. I build miniature buildings, and I surely would put one of these to good use! Thanks, Cathe, for the opportunity!
Wow, such a great tool!
thanks for this chance to win
Looks very handy!
Vera
Looks good, does so much! If this tool came with a rapier wit, I may have to look at my husband in a new light.
That thing is awesome!! I think this could make a great “go-to” gift for my handy friends and family.
Is it weird that I’m feeling out over this? It’s very very cool and I want one! Thanks for the giveaway!
i could put this to good use.
Holy moly! That is awesome! I love the flexible attachment.
My husband’s workshop it’s in such a mess I can never find anything (and neither can he!) I’d love to have this as my go-to tool for all the little jobs I want to do but don’t want towait for him to get around to.
That tool would get so much use around my house! Looks like a great tool.
I had to smile at the adjective ‘relevant’ – I guess you get a lot of spammers.
This tool looks like it would be great for aging hands to use! I guess all of have those. I sure would love to try it.
Such a nifty tool! Would be helpful for me to have an all in 1 tool to use around the house! Thanks for the giveaway!
My mom has one of these and I’ve been coveting it since she brought it on her last visit (I put her to work on house repairs!). They are so handy!
Love the flexible screwdriver attachment! Thanks for the giveaway!
I love that it has a hammer side and a soft mallet side–much better than me putting foam over my hammer and attempting to “soft hammer.” My mom and I could do some serious work with that baby!
I love that you can do everything with one tool! So convienent!
Cathe, That tools is awesome, along with crafting, I’m constantly fixing stuff around the house and church and never have the right tool. If I don’t win one I will have to go find one. Thanks and hope you have a great day
Ooo – this would be great for odd jobs around the house! Looks like a terrific all-in-one tool!
would be nice to have in my sewing/craft room.
Now THAT is a brilliant tool. I’m always looking for a racheting screwdriver and I LOVE the flexible attachment! Awesome!!
I would absolutely love to win one of these. I live in an old house and I’m constantly finding things that need a quick fix. This would be the perfect tool for all the small repairs that I have to make.
Love the compact all-in-one tool. Would be great for all those household job. Thank you for the opportunity to win one.
I have odd jobs to do all the time! What better tool to use than this!
I would love to have that tool. I can never find a hammer or screw driver when I need one.
I NEEEEEED this in my tool kit! I’m the one who fixes everything around the house these days.
Ooooooh! This is really cool! I think my husband will think so too so it will have to go in the secret stash with the chocolate
Cathe, you share the best things! And I have shared this one with a friend. Looks great, such a nice offer!
If I had a tool like this I would not have to try and hunt this or that tool down in my husband’s disorganized workshop…I would have my own in one spot!
i worked with multi tools before and love them
I enjoy spending time in a hardware store but somehow missed seeing this tool. What a great idea! thanks again for the chance to win.
That flexible screwdriver attachment looks like it would come in very handy. I never knew something like that existed!
THANK YOU for telling me about this tool! We’ve just moved and I have been lugging around a toolbox that has all of these tools in it to every room I go for hanging stuff, fixing stuff, etc.
I hope to win, but if I don’t, this is totally on my “To Buy” list.
Now I’m a woman who loves all her well-made individual tools, but WOW, that looks like one incredibly versatile and handy tool! If I had one I’d likely keep it in a belt loop or my bag at all times. What a great find, thanks for sharing!
Wow, what a tool!! I am always organizing to make room for more stuff. This all-in-one would save me some space! Thanks for a chance to get an amazing tool.
Very cool tool. I would love to have something I could hid from my husband and then save just for my use!
My husband will be so jealous, and I’ll save so many trips out to his tool box. Great giveaway!
What a fabulous tool! Thanks for sharing these tips with us. I’d of course love to win one.
I really want this tool. And I would tell my husband hands off!!!
The idea of not having to wear a tool apron when trying to do a small repair is SO appealing!
Wow I would love to have this tool in my arisonal for DIY projects!
You have the most wonderful blog I visit weekly!
Thanks for sharing!
Would love to have one of these! I think they’d make an awesome high school graduation present (because I used the heels of my shoes as a hammer for years), but I have a feeling once I got one in my hands I wouldn’t be able to give it away.
Only pink would be an improvement. Then the guys would not steal it. This gadget has all the tools I need in one handy spot!
It’s great to have one tool that will do so much! I can imagine using this in my own studio almost daily. Thanks for offering it!
Perfect. A ratcheting screw driver would be handy. Best of all- the tools are all in one place. that makes them harder to lose.
Wow. I love it, all the function none of the space in the tool box.
This would be great for my sewing room. I have sewing tools and a screwdriver, but I need a hammer or a mallet on a fairly regular basis but I keep them in the basement with the regular tools. I’d love to have a useful multi-tool there.
This looks like a great tool to have around the house, I’d love a chance to try it out.
If I were lucky enough to win this wonderful tool, I wouldn’t tell anyone in my home and I would hide it so the tool thief who lives here and spirits away screwdrivers and wrenches and hammers couldn’t abscond with it!
LOVE this! I def need one for when my husband’s not around to help! I could really get things done!! Thank you!
That looks so awesome! I’ve been wanting to get a rubber mallet, and my husband and I are constantly asking where the other left the hammer
Thanks for sharing!
Totally loving this! How great it would be for the somewhat impatient people like me who don’t tend to grab all they need before they jump into a project
That looks so compact and handy, would love to win one!
thanks for the chance
This looks really handy. I’d love to have one for myself.
That looks like a perfect tool! I’d love one!
This would be so handy to keep in my toolkit!
I would love one of these to replace that garish pink hammer that a well-meaning relative gave me years ago. I cringe every time that I have to use it, but it works, so I find myself hard-pressed to justify replacing it. I like pink, but this is a baby pink that reminds me of infants. And infants shouldn’t have hammers!
It would be lovely to have my own tool for my studio. I can never find what I need in my spouse’s workshop…

Well, this little tool looks like a keeper! I’d love to keep one!
Thanks for the giveaway chance!
That looks absolutely amazing! Thanks for the opportunity!
What a cool tool! I am going to buy one for my dad — he will love it! (unless I win one, of course!)
I could use a versatile tool like this. Thanks.
This tool is totally awesome! I’d love to have an all in one tool just for myself. I would totally hide this and keep it for myself in my studio!
Thanks for this great opportunity to win!
Janey
Would love to win!
Love this! I am divorced and am now the handy person in our household. Ex got most of the tools. I love the simplicity and space saving of this tools. Thanks for the chance! Love your style!
What a cool multi-function tool! I can really use this – especially that flexible screwdriver attachment. I have a few spots in my house that are hard to reach with regular screwdrivers.
This would be a wonderful addition to my camping supplies! Thanks xoxo
Wow! That looks awesome!
And I thought the screwdrivers with removable changeable heads were cool! I would glue a rare earth magnet near the hammer head to hold nails, etc. (I did this on my ‘ordinary’ hammer – quite handy). I would love to have one of these
The flexible head is the key attraction to me. Too many times I’ve had to rig something to reach a hard to reach screw. I’d love to see a couple more features added on tastefully – such as inch/metric measurements on the side for quick reference or a pry bar edge at the top of the hammer head. I haven’t felt it yet, but a longer handle (for more leverage) might be nice, too.
Awesome tool! And a nice giveaway…
Thanks!
That is by far the best gadget ever! I have a small toolbox filled
with some of my husbands cast offs, this would be sooo much better!
The only improvement would be if it came in pink (or turquoise)
I’d love to have that tool!
These look so fun and useful! As a single lady it’s time to up my arsenal of handy tools
Oooooh. What a cool tool! Thanks for the chance to win one!
What a fantastic all-in-one tool! All it is missing is a retractable tape and a flashlight. How great it would be to have an entire tool box in one easy to take along tool.
Wow, what a clever tool. I love multi-function items–just so practical!
What an awesome space saver that would be for someone who doesn’t really have room for all those tools separately
I need this tool, so I can find everything I need in one place!
Now there’s a TOOL! I know of at least 3 things that need fixing around here that would be easier to fix with the cool flexible screwdriver included with the OddJob! So handy to have and easy to store…yep…I NEED the OddJob!
Not only can I really use this tool around the house, but I’m thinking about getting them for my two sons who recently graduated from college. And for my nieces who are about to graduate from high school and law school and college. This will replace a drawer full of odds and ends tools I keep in the house (the rest being who knows where in the garage!).
Whoa! That would be an awesome tool to have on my work desk! Please enter my name…
Oh yes, I could use that puppy around here!
How I would love to have this tool as my very own – rather than scouring through my husband’s tool chest!
How handy would this little baby be?! Love to win this!
Even though I have a garage full of tools I think everyone should have some small tools in a kitchen drawer. This looks grand! It also looks like a great shower gift or a gift for a kid going off to college or living alone for the first time. I love multi tools that have useful items.
when it comes to odd jobs around the house, I’m the go-to person. This tool looks amazing. many thanks for the giveaway.
I love the idea of having such a versatile tool for my craft area. I really hate running out to the garage to get a hammer or a screw driver, when I just need a quick fix.
to sum it up!***Swoon***not just this tool, your blog, your posts, your amazing mind full of fantastic ideas….
Thanks Cathe!
Wowie Zowie! I am always looking for one tool or the other – NEVER have them all in one place when I need them, seems like! This would be great to keep on a hook in my studio – any tool I need at my disposal with one grab!
You had me with the screwdriver attachment! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve just plain given up if I can’t get a screwdriver where I want an item to go!
I would also have to hide this from my husband – but that’s why I need one in the first place! All my tools end up in the garage with his and I can never find them! Thanks for the offer, and off to add this to my Amazon wishlist!
Thank you for the giveaway. This is a nice looking tool. It would be nice not to make trips to the supply closet to get each of the tools that are included when putting together ikea furniture or any other assemblies.
Oooh! That is the PERFECT junk drawer tool. Except that it’s not some crazy color, like pink, to keep my husband from absconding with it. Thanks for the offer! Can’t wait for the studio reveal!
I don’t know what I’d do with all the extra space in my craft tool box! Seriously, that’s a very nifty tool. I’d love to win one, but if not then this may end up on the hubby’s “I never know what to get you” list.
I am such a tool junkie and I especially love tools that have multiple uses. I can already think of a dozen projects I could use this on!!!
Now that would be a great little tool to have. Love all the added little features. Thanks for sharing and giving us the opportunity to have one as well.
Wow – what a great tool – it really covers a lot of uses. Thanks for sharing – I love your blog, and you always have great ideas. The OddJob would really be a great addition to my studio – i’m always rummaging around for a hammer, or standard screwdriver, and having the bits tucked inside is genius!
Well isn’t that a handy gadget! Many years ago my husband gave me a toolbox full of “woman” tools, hammers and screwdrivers that maybe weren’t as heavy duty as the ones he had in his shop. Mysteriously, all my woman tools have disappeared…hmmm…so having something like this would be fantastic! Easy to hide away too so that it wouldn’t end up in his shop.
I love that this tool has a small mallet in addition to all the other features. Crescent was smart to send you this tool. My husband wants me to buy some as gifts for four family members but I’m hoping I win this one.
That is really cool, and it would be nice to have one tool in my work room and not have to have a lot more. Great giveaway, Thanks
I have been getting a small craft area set up. The two important things I need are a soft mallet and screw drivers. This tool would be perfect.
What a cool tool! I would keep this close by & at the ready!
that looks awesome! I’m always stealing my husband’s tools!
Thank you for the chance to enter this drawing. I would love to give this a try!
This tool would be very useful for all of our household projects. Thanks for the chance to win one!
This looks like the new go-to tool. We have some tool sets that frequently get pulled out when there’s a quick job, but this looks like it could replace most of those.
What an awesome giveaway! We never seem to have the right tool for the job…this would really help out!
I am in Love with this tool. From the shape that appeals to my old hands to all the different options without having to put down one tool to pick up another. I need one of these in my tool box. Maybe one for His tool box too.
Teri
This is the perfect tool for me. An all-in-one! Quite an amazing little invention there. Count me in.
What a great idea for a tool! I like that it has a mallet end as well as the hard end of a hammer. And it’s really neat that the screwdriver tips and utility knife can be kept in the handle, so they are always handy. Thanks for the chance to win one!
wow, does that look like fun!! thank you for the chance to win!!
Another amazing giveaway. Thanks so much for the chance. Looks like a great tool to have around. Jane S
Wow! this looks amazing! I live in a tiny apartment, where space is at a premium. It would be amazing to have a tool that does all these things
This is the coolest tool I have ever seen! I would definitely need to keep this away from the hubbie!
So many projects come to mind…fabulous!
What a great idea! Cool product. Thanks for the giveaway!
This looks like the best tool ever! I need to win this!
I LOVE tools! This is so clever and useful. What a great design!
Great Tool! Would love to have that in my studio.
One tool instead of finding the 4 it replaces? NICE! This is a go-in-the-kitchen-junk-drawer, so I can leave the others in the garage.
The handle looks more comfortable then my hardwood hammer and the screwdriver comes with it. What a great deal! Thank You
I love that big, flat pounding surface!
What a handy, little tool! I know that I could put this to good use!
That is pret-ty nifty! I like the part that’s curved, so handy-dandy!
We’ll be moving soon to a smaller home…this will replace a BUNCH of tools!
How handy! And clever – great idea to hide extra bits in handle. Would have to hide this one from the guys in my house
What a clever idea! I love that it is brightly colored for high visibility.
Looks like the BEST tool ever! Will wait to hear that I’m the winner! TY
Love the looks of this! Except I may put some pink paint on mine for identification! It never fails when I get a good tool, it disappears in my husband’s shop…
I’ve recently set up a studio as well, so I understand the need to have tools on hand. I love how there’s so many combined into one on the OddJob Tool!
What a useful tool. A great item to have in the toolbox and colorful too.
This would be a great addition for my craft studio! I’m all about tools that are all-in-one and compact. I also don’t have to go digging in my husband’s tool drawers! Thanks for a chance to win!
What a great tool to have in my art studio! Just one tool for many different purposes…love that.
This would be a great addition to my craft table– but I think I would also need to share it with my husband! Thanks for the great opportunity!
I love handy little, simple tools that are versatile! PS: I still get warnings that it’s an attack site. I hope it’s clean since I come here from my work PC some times and I don’t want to get attacked!
I lay my hammer or screwdriver down and cannot ever find them! How awesome is this tool?
Wow, this is really a cool tool!! These are the kind of tools that I am constantly looking for! This is a must have for every home, crafter, DIYer!! I love it!
I adore having my own tools. This would be my favorite. Having all those options together in one place….fabulous!!!!
Molly
The OddJob is amazing. I would love to win one, but will be going to Amazon to put one on my wish list. I am always having trouble finding all my tools in the closet, so to have all in one and so brightly colored would be wonderful. I especially like the soft mallet, something I occasionally need and try to make do with a towel wrapped around my hammer. Thanks for reviewing this!
What a cool tool! I’d love to have one…
I think that OddJob would be a perfect addition to my tool box. It would certainly have to be hidden from my Hub.
WOW! I could get rid of a lot of things in my overstuffed tool box if I had this handy dandy tool. Plus, losing it would not be an issue with it’s bright color!
Looks like an amazing useful tool! Lots of jobs and just one tool!
My husband just told me today that I wasn’t allowed to use his tools anymore because he always ends up finding them in my craft room – oops! This little tool looks like it would be very handy- would help to keep upstairs so I wouldn’t have to run downstairs to the garage every time I need a hammer or screwdriver.
What a nifty tool! This would be a great little gadget to keep in my craft room! Thanks for the chance to win!
What a dandy little tool!
Hello..absolutely love your site/blog. I love crafting and especially upcycling myself, but am not very proficient with a computer or with coherent instructions. So I especially love sites like yours for inspiration. Its fabulous..just wanted you to know. Keep posting..i will keep reading.
What a great invention! I could get rid of my tool basket with this all-in-one OddJob tool. Thanks for the generous offer.
I have a facebook page Life Can Be Simple, stumbled upon yours there and loved it.
Oh I totally need this I am moving soon and will need this tool will help me break down, put up and finish/start a few project I have for the new place!!!
I just found your website today – lucky me! I LOVE your ideas and inspiration. I recently started a business re-purposing furniture and other vintage finds. My husband would love for me to have my own tools, but I’m on a shoe-string budget, so for now I borrow his. . . Winning this little baby would be a real blessing! Thanks for the opportunity!
Wow that tool looks really nice. I could use one of those!
LOVE the compact nature of this tool….great idea! Would love to win one!
As a single girl in Chicago, I’ve collected a few tools to get me through moving multiple times, but it would certainly be nice to reference just ONE thing in the time of (redecorating!) need.
I love tools and I can see that this one could have a place in my studio.
The flexible screwdriver attachment would be so useful as I have found myself needing a tool such as this more than a few times. A plus for the compactness.
You always have a good feature be it tools or tips…thanks
What a work horse of a tool! Love the attachment to access hard to reach screws, thanks for the chance to win one. Melissa W.
I think this product (Crescent® OddJob™ Tool) is awesome. Everything is contained in one place which makes it very easy for a crafter. Lovin it!!!
Please put my name in the contest. I could soooo use this handy tool! Thank you!
Such a neat tool, looks like it would make a great grad gift too!
this looks like a really useful tool! I would hide it so I would always know where to find it when I needed it ;D I especially like the soft mallet side- that’s something I can never find, yet often need!
Thanks for the opportunity!
That looks like the perfect tool!
Can’t wait to see your finished barn studio…
Oh, this is just what I need; my small tool box always has tools missing (because mine is handy INSIDE); so I’d hide this in my crafting supplies! Thanks!
My husband and I built our home from the ground up. This sure would have come in handy ;D I like that flexible screwdrive attachment. I sure could have used that plenty of times. This tool looks like they thought of everything!!! Thanks for a chance to win one <3
Awesome tool! What a terrific item to keep in the craft room! I love that it efficiently combines so many useful items into one attractive item!
Oh this would be an awesome thing to add to my “Mom” tool bag. Just the other day my hubby was wishing he had a flexible screwdriver tip!! I’d love to win!! Thanks to you both for the chance to win!
This is a must have tool ! I love it!
