HURRY, REGISTRATION CLOSES MARCH 1, 2013!
I’m very excited to be a part of this awesome event. Here’s what I’ll be speaking on and teaching:
Cathe Holden shares her journey as a work-from-home graphic designer to her personal success in the craft blog arena.
Hear her perspectives on writing, branding, marketing, public relations, etiquette, and style and how she carved out her own unique spot among the vast population of craft bloggers, becoming contributing editor for Country Living magazine and author at Chronicle Books.
Cathe will also share an intimate look at how baring her creative soul on the world wide web brought peace to her personal struggles.
So, its official, you’re one talented individual and you’ve made the perfect product. The next step is just as important as the product itself – how you present it to the world.
Veteran crafty product makers Nicole & Cathy will share what they’ve learned over the years about how to package, tag, label and display products for the public. They’ll focus on creative and budget conscious solutions as well as present tons of inspirational images from crafty biz pros.
You’ll also get a list of resources so you can make your products look polished and professional.
Join Cathe Holden of Just Something I Made to work with wood, vintage collage images, ribbon, beads and other notions to create a mixed media brooch.
You’ll master some new skills like learning how to use the Xyron sticker maker as you create a design with balanced composition and color that employs techniques from mixed media art, graphic design, jewelry making and more!
Rosette Art Book Signing
I was so excited to see that my editor, Lisa Tauber of Chronicle Books would be one of the speakers at Craftcation. In fact, Chronicle Books will be doing an early release of my book just for this event! So, as you can imagine, I can hardly wait to do my very first book signing. (I’ve been practicing.)
Don’t you think this would be the most amazing girlfriend get-away!? Head over to the Craftcation website to see all the great things planned and the incredible line-up of speakers and teachers. But hurry and register, this could sell out soon! I really hope to see you there.
