Scrap Retreat Sponsor Swag Giveaway: DAY 2

In case you missed the goodies from Day 1, you can find them and more information on the giveaway posted HERE. And now… more swag!

……………………. THE ORIGINAL SCRAPBOX …………………….

Surely by now you’ve seen the amazing craft storage systems of The Original Scrapbox in publications and online. (No, there’s not a Scrapbox tucked into the swag bag, but one of their fantastic crafting accessories is!)I was so fortunate to meet the charming Mr. Scrapbox himself, Glenn Jakins. He and his crew have designed and created the highest quality cabinets for storage I have ever seen. Beautiful, beautiful pieces, including their newest addition, The SewingBox. Scrapbox furniture is designed to house all your craft, scrap and sewing supplies and equipment, with the option of closing up and away when not in use. A sort of studio-in-a-cabinet. You can view 3D videos of their unique cabinets on The Original Scrapbox website, HERE. Or, if you want to really see them in action, check out the images on The Original Scrapbox Facebook page! (Be sure to LIKE them on Facebook, they are always having fun promotions!) Scrapox also has an EZ View CraftDesk that is so cool- you can look right into the drawers from the top clear surface of the desk- it’s like a giant shadow box! And wait until you see all the cabinet finishes they offer. My fav is the Limited Edition Black Oak, shown below.

Scrapbox has lots of great accessories for scrappers and crafters, including the brilliant ScrapMaBob drink holder and trash bag attachment for your table. It’s simply genious.

We used the heck out of ours at the scrap retreat last weekend! Not one spill to ruin anyone’s work! There’s one ScrapMaBob in each giveaway swag bag!

Thank you Scrap Box!

……………………. EPIPHANY CRAFTS …………………….

Epiphany Crafts wins my award for juiciest booth at CHA. I mean, just look at their website!Epiphany Crafts puts into your hands an all-in-one way of creating unique craft embellishments using your favorite papers, photos, fabric and more. Brian Fogg made a fun bottle cap stick-on button with my business card using a Shape Studio Tool Round and Shape Studio Accessories Bubble Caps. Love it!

You can try out Epiphany Crafts’ tools virtually on their website using your own image if you want, HERE.Epiphany Crafts sent out enough Button Studio Tool Heart Tools and Button Accessories to make lots of darling custom embellishments! My friend, Laura, used the heart buttons to create a sweet and shiny flower on her layout! You can find even more wonderful Epiphany Crafts photos on their Facebook page.

Thank you Epiphany Crafts!

……………………. MY LITTLE YELLOW BICYCLE …………………….

All the noise was coming from the booth of My Little Yellow Bicycle (MYLYB) at CHA. They were seriously giving away actual yellow bicycles during the show! (NO, there’s not a yellow bicycle in the swag bags. Sorry.)So, bee-lining it over to see what was what, I discovered a world of amazing design in the form of scrapbook papers, accessories and embellishments! My favorite MYLYB designs come from their Lucky Me collection.

Although I didn’t go home with a new bike, I did, like most attendees of CHA, go home with an awesome MYLYB shopping bag! There’s one MYLYB shopping bag in each swag bag giveaway!

Thank you My Little Yellow Bicycle!

……………………. DCWV…………………….

Die Cuts with a View, (DCWV) was the show stopper at CHA with their Paper Runway. A multitude of gorgeous dresses all hand crafted from their beautiful papers. They had so many unique paper displays set up, it was incredible.DCWV has just launched nine new Premium Stacks and collections and extended three of their new lines to include coordinating Cardstock Stacks, Album Box Kits and Box of Cards collections.

Lucky for us, they sent 15 assorted DCWV Mat Stacks to fight over choose from! And, three of which are heading into the giveaway bags!

Thank you DCWV!

That’s a wrap for Day 2 of the Sponsor Swag Giveaway. Remember, entry to win opens with the Friday blog post! For now…tell me…do you scrap?

  10. #10 - wendy baker says:

    my HEAVENS!!!
more cool stuff to make other cool stuff from. i would swoon with the chances… you know, to cross populate my interests! paper goes into fabric, fabric goes into home goods and clothing… and clothing needs jewels. it all comes together. xoxox.w

  11. #11 - Cindy G. says:

I don’t scrap, because the trend started after I had amassed way too many photos to deal with. I do make cards and some other random paper crafts, however. Maybe one of these days I’ll dig through my immense box of photos, still stored in their photo shop envelopes, and take a stab at scrapping… but it won’t be soon!

  12. #12 - RLJ says:

Yes, I do scrap. It’s the hobby my mom and I do together. I’ve salivated over the ScrapBox for years.

  13. #13 - Ann says:

i’ve collected paper, have tons of photos, bought stickers and am ready to scrap….some day.

  14. #14 - NancyS (momsnack) says:

I do cardmaking mainly, but some scrapbooking – have a whole pile of photos from a recent vacation which are waiting for me to get busy!

  15. #15 - Isa says:

  16. #16 - Arrica M says:

Yes, just not as often as I’d like to. I am more a paper crafter; Mini books, lots of cards, embellishment of gifts, that sort of thing. My scrapbooks are usually gifted to family members. :)

    What an exciting giveaway!

  17. #17 - LibraryGirl62 says:

I do not scrap…it is one of the few crafts I have not attempted in my time. But it is also the one I would most like to start…but I am afraid I will never stop :)

  18. #18 - Sonja Wever says:

I do – but not enough. It seems life gets in the way.

  19. #19 - Jill says:

    Yes, I do!

But, alas, I’m sooooo far behind I don’t know when/if I’ll ever catch up!?!

My pictures and supplies haunt me in my dreams. I hope, one day, to wake up and say THIS is THE DAY! :)

  20. Oh.My.Goodness. I’ve never seen such lovelies!

Your retreat sounds awesome! I’m heading to Rohnert Park on April 30th for an all-day scrapbooking fundraising crop with my best friend.

I love Occidental; we have pasta at the Union Hotel every time we go out there. My mother-in-law actually lives on Occidental Rd. in Santa Rosa!

I’m a scrapper, evidenced by the fact that the table in the corner of my bedroom is covered in a mess. I mean page in progress.
I’m working on a mini-book with my favorite quotes right now.

  21. #21 - Carla Gray says:

I do scrap! Love all kinds of crafts! Keep up the great work!

  22. #22 - gwenola says:

    Yep….and I love it!

  23. #23 - Arielle says:

Loved looking at all the sponsor links! The Scrapbox site is an organizer’s heaven! I’m bookmarking it so I always have a site that is guaranteed to make me smile! I wonder if Epiphany Crafts could create a button tool to make cupcake-shaped buttons? With as popular as the cupcake theme seems to be lately, I bet they’d sell well. MYLYB’s bargain section was especially fun to browse – looks like they’ve got some great stuff at fantastic prices! As far as DCVW, I’m currently using their Far East pack to make a travel journal and I am absolutely loving the lush Asian colors!

I’ve done some scrapbooking in the past, but currently am focused on greeting card and journal making at the moment. I’m sure I’ll return to scrapbooking again in the future – I love to save memories in creative ways!

Thanks so much for sharing great links!

  24. #24 - shelley says:

    Hi,

Great post. I immediately thought of shrink plastic when I saw the Ephany line. I use my paper punches to cut out and shrink buttons that end out looking just like theirs. I already have so many punches. This looks like a copy cat line. Just my thoughts.

    Shelley

  25. #25 - Carla says:

I don’t currently scrap….. but now I want to try!

  26. #26 - Nancy ~ Inkcicles says:

I scarp but not as much as I stamp to make cards. Lately I have had the scrapping bug and have made a ton of mini books. They are mostly blank mini books though. I have to decide whether to sell them or use them.

    :-)

  27. #27 - veronica says:

i am a cardmaker, but recently bought all the stuff to do a scrapbook of my nephew. i just need a little help to get started. what page do i start with?!

  28. #28 - Sarah Long says:

    I scrap a la mini…in my jewelry!

  37. #37 - rhain says:

yeah!!! i wanna fight for it LOL

  38. #38 - Laura says:

No scrapping here, just card-making ;) I like cards because they’re so practical, and you can finish them in one sitting rather than have an ongoing project in a scrapbook. I just don’t have the space in my apt. for keeping that kind of stuff out for a project.

But I WANT that bag! Can’t wait :D

  39. #39 - Terri Gordon says:

  42. #42 - Amy Baldwin says:

Yes I scrap, and I love it! Those fabulous goodies are wonderful! I don’t know how all that stuff can even fit into the bags. I wish I was going to the workshop…talk about an amazing bag for the recipients. Over-the-top!

Yes! I don’t do a lot of ‘flat’ scrapbooks anymore, tho am currently working on one for my younger son (featuring his high school years) who will graduate soon. I mostly do chunky pages in books that have to stand up and lots of Altoid tin scrapbooks. (I have pics of those in the gallery on my pageafterpaige page on facebook. I haven’t updated that page in awhile, as I’ve opened a shop so keep that one…Square Crafters… updated instead. )

I think your ideas are just amazing!

  49. #49 - Colleen says:

Yes – I scrap. Started the year I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer..you know..to leave a record that I was here and all. Well, 14 years later and I’m still here! And, I still scrap..now to have a record of my grand-kiddos who all live out of my state :-(

I do cards, stamping, caligraphy, paper quilling, and other paper crafts at this point, though, and enjoy them very much, and have done a scrapbook for a a special event or two to give away. Newly scrapping and I love it! I think your giveaway is awesome!!!

  125. #126 - Pam Jensen says:

I scrap. My scrapping turns out to be more than just a page in a book sometimes. Sometimes they turn out to be little works of art that take on a life of their own. More like shadow boxes because a page just can’t contain all of the wonderful and fun stuff I like to use. Then there are times that just a simple plain page tells the story.

I love making cards too. Paper, punches, inks, buttons…all of the fun stuff. My Mother encouraged all of us kids to make our cards and gifts. Telling us that handmade cards were more special. I believed her then, and I still believe her, especially after finding all of the handmade cards we made as kids after she passed away…I even found the scrapbook my Mom started for me over 50 years ago! I guess you could say scrapping runs in the family!

I started Scrap booking before it became popular in 1988, that was my first page. I did a Toy’s for Tot’s bike ride here in Chicago on a freezing December 4th day. Scrap booking supplies were not sold in stores, only threw Creative Memories reps.

I’ve heard wonderful things about the Scrap Box; great quality! I like the idea of those drink holders! That’s really something I would use (since I’m so clumsy!)! Those little button makers look perfect; I’d love to be able to design my own to match my project. And who in their right mind doesn’t love DCWV?!!!!!!!! Their paper is amazing. Unfortunately (due to income) I’m only allowed to pick up one paper stack after the other one is gone. This would really make my day! :) I’m off to look at and learn more about MYLYB. :) Thanks for the info!

My friend Cindy took me to my first scrap show this year and all I kept saying was wow. I make jewelry, and do fiber and needle work, so it’s just one more creative outlet for me. So I am on the cusp of scrapping. Been making cards mostly.

I have been scrapping for 5 years and attend 2 retreats, spring and fall. It is the most fun, relaxing time with over 30 ladies (my group has 10 – all from my church!)
Several girls have one of those little cup/trash holders, and it’s on my “very important to have” list (right next to that ScrapBox!!!); Little Yellow Bicycle is one of my favorites! I’m not familiar with Epiphany Crafts_YET! But those little heart buttons are ADORABLE :D And, of course, who can scrap without DCWV?
This is really fun. I’ve been checking everyday without commenting, but had to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. Thank you!
