Fun Personalized Notecards

I have so much fun coming up with creative projects and posts for the Family Economics section of the SC Johnson corporate website. The latest is a simple craft for making personalized stationery notecards using pages from discarded books and your sewing machine. Of course, hand stitching would work well, too! I find the books at a local thrift store or occasionally at a Friends of the Library sale. For these notecards, I added a fun touch- faux apparel tags. Check out the d.i.y. notecard post HERE.

I so heart anything that combines thread and paper. Dave gave me a card a few years ago with a piece of paper that featured a crown sewn onto the card. It's by far my favorite card that I ever received by him. I love this idea and need to do this for my Christmas cards this coming winter. A great inspiring post.

great site, GREAT ideas. Thank you for the print outs too. I also love the quote from Erma Bombeck, I remember reading that after she died and really feel she did a great job with everything she got.
