I wish I had a nickel for every blog comment that reads, “I don’t know how you do it all…” Seriously, folks, you really should see my laundry room. Oh, and my bedroom closet. Did I mention the garage? The barn? Things do get neglected when I spend so much time blogging. So this weekend I am going to take a break from posting to my blog and start my Spring cleaning in July.
Of course, I’m positive that your house is in order, so I’m leaving you with some free digital images of beautiful calling cards and trade cards that I scanned from my collection for you to craft with this weekend. And I figure calling it Vintage Digital Weekend sounded much classier than Cathe Needs to do Some Housework. These ought to keep you busy until I get back, now, go make something! I’ll be checking in should you want to post your ideas for using these graphics.

Awesome! Love these:-)
OMG… you are so like me. If my husband didn't do the laundry, nobody would have clean clothes. ha! And the house is a total pit right now. ugh. Oh, but my daughter will have an awesome, creative birthday party! Hopefully she'll remember that more than the messy house.
Ha ha, people ask me how I have time to read so many books. Well, duh, you always have time for what you want to do MOST. I just say, "Oh, I don't clean." Which means, I clean only the things that are really dirty. I do NOT shine my sink, or dust, or de-clutter, or scrub my kitchen floor (okay, once or twice a year). The refrigerator has only been completely clean twice, and one of those times was when we bought it. So what? Would you rather vacuum every day…or make something? No brainer

Be careful with that cleaning. It may be hazardous to your health! Thanks for all of the wonderful vintage images!!

Cathe,
Goodness, gracious, I am SO glad no one can see my art room right now!!!! It's a secret that we all have but I just do not have enough time to create as it is, let alone organize! Thank you, dear one, for the lovely graphics. I have been working for the last three days (it is 2:30am and yesterday/last night, whatever, I went to bed at 5:30AM) making cards, bookmarks, button cards, & numerous other projects. This art will come in handy IF I can sneak in a couple hours away from my beading/hubby/eating & sleeping a couple of hours…lol Thank you so much!
Sharon

I have just discovered your website, what beautiful things you make! You are so creative. I feel like I want to try some of those crafts too. How did you make your logo in this collage sheet? I mean, how come you get the same color for your font like the frame? Is this the brushing technique? I heard about it but I've never tried. Maybe you know where I can find such beautiful vintage frames and borders?
Alle the best, Chani
