Camp Crafty 2009

I almost forgot to mention that the troops left today for their annual gold country camping trip which marks the beginning of another Cathe Holden Camp Crafty: Isolation 2009. That’s right, I’ve got the house to myself for several days! If you’re a mom of young children, you know how this is gold in itself. Although I will miss everyone, I enjoy the peace and quiet. I’ve got a few design projects due but no big plans on what to craft just yet. I’ll think of something. I don’t imagine I’ll be quite as ambitious as last year though, but who knows…

Woo Hoo for You!! (10x over!) Have a wonderful, peaceful, and creative time. Just think, when you leave a room and return to it later, it will be exactly as you left it. Nobody's dirty dishes or socks laying around! (Can you guess what my current gripe at my house is??) Oh, how I long for a weekend with peace, time and crafty supplies… I wouldn't even know where to begin! Have fun!!

this sounds so great! I hate it that we don't have such activities here, well, we do have, but they are really rare and I almost always hear about them too late. have fun, I can't wait to see what you will create :)

p.s. thanks for sharing about the overnight prints, I've used MOO cards, but I really need something like this :)

Aaaahhhhh! Best mother's day gift ever – when hubby took the kids hiking All Day Long. No interruptions, no cooking meals – just me and my dog in the lair.

    Enjoy!

I just finished my own staycation while my boys were all gone camping for three days. I played hooky from work and did absolutely nothing the entire time except watch movies and eat junk food. It was wonderful!

    Enjoy your time :)

Enjoy your weekend; I'm anxious to see what you create with all your free time :-) I remember how nice it was when my kids were small if they were all out of the house at the same time. I've got plenty of 'me time' now and I'm afraid I don't take advantage of it often enough. Lately I'd rather read than craft but I'm hoping to change that soon. Keep creating and sharing and have a great weekend!!

You … are a lucky girl! Yes, I too miss my children when they are gone, however it is nice for them to go places and enjoy the sights and sounds, and it is good for Momma to be home alone for a little bit. :o )
    Enjoy your time!
    Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne
