By now it’s probably pretty clear how much I love spray paint. It’s the instant extreme makeover in a can. I’m also a little nuts for any type of cabinet with drawers, and if they have ID card holder hardware attached, I can never resist.
I have a few old watch part cabinets that hold my small craft supplies and found another one at the Alameda Flea Market last weekend for $15. I painted this piece with Rust-oleum American Accents Seaside Green Satin ($3.50), then scuffed just a bit with sandpaper around the edges when dry. I lined the drawers by laying a folded sheet of large ledger paper in them. Here’s the 1/2 hour project before & after!

Yet another great project that inspires me!
That is so pretty, it hurts. I guess those kind of pieces (drawers, labels) bespeak order and calm. And with that soothing color, it's just so appealing. Well done, again.
Looks great! You really enjoy the Alameda Flea Market! I want to go too!
What a great project! I just love your blog. You find the greatest things.

The ledger paper was such a great idea for a drawer liner. And, thanks for sharing the color of paint…I love that color!
What a nice project and it looks great! I enjoy your blog and all of your great ideas!
LOVE IT!
So cute!
That is my very fave color! I also love spray paint. Well done, girl!
I think your project turned out beautifully! And a great color choice, too!
Marvellous! I'm almost speechless.
I have an 'apprentice's chest' that I treasure, and will put it on my blog sometime, but am incapable of looking at something functional and ostensibly 'boring', maybe a bit tatty, and having the vision or skill to turn it into an item of beauty. You can Cathe, right across the board!

Awesome Awesome Awesome !
Beautiful. And I laughed out loud when i clicked on the third pictures to see it larger and read the labels: Bottles, Bottles, Bottles… Beans. NOT what I was expecting, but makes sense with your post on beans from a while ago.
And can I just say — what a classy way to store thumb tacks and paper clips too. Wow.

I love the total look of the green cabinet with the white bottles on top- and the can holding the pink roses- all next to your great drapes. What a beautiful way to corral supplies!
Lovin' that! Great job:)
I am now on the hunt for a similar cabinet…yours turned out amazing! I want one too.
Beautiful! I recently came into a large metal filing cabinet. Your last post about painting inspired me to paint it, which i havent done yet but am planning too. I love the color you chose, I am definitely going to have to check out that line of spray paint for more colors. Thank you!!
Oh how fab!! Great project.
